The Stricto Sensu Graduate Programs at UNIVAP are recognized for their excellence in teaching and research, offering high-level academic training for those seeking in-depth theoretical knowledge and the development of innovative projects. Linked to the Office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies (PRPPG) and coordinated by the Institute for Research and Development (IP&D), the programs include three academic master’s degrees, one professional master’s degree, and three doctoral degrees. All programs are accredited by CAPES, ensuring credibility and recognition in both academic and professional markets.
Aimed at professionals who wish to pursue academic careers or engage in research, the courses provide access to advanced methodologies and state-of-the-art infrastructure. Throughout their training, students develop impactful scientific research, strengthening their expertise and contributing to the advancement of knowledge in their respective fields.
Since 1998, UNIVAP has graduated more than 1,000 master’s and doctoral students, standing out in the academic arena for the quality and relevance of its programs. Committed to innovation and scientific impact, the university continuously invests in the excellence of its graduate education, preparing highly qualified professionals to work both in Brazil and abroad.
The CAPES PROSUC scholarship is a benefit offered by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) to graduate students enrolled in stricto sensu programs at community institutions of higher education. The goal of PROSUC is to support the training of highly qualified professionals.
At UNIVAP, PROSUC scholarships are available to both master’s and doctoral students and are granted through calls for applications published as part of the selection processes for stricto sensu Graduate Programs. The number of scholarships offered in each selection process depends on the available balance in CAPES's Scholarship and Aid Management System.
