GAS CHROMATOGRAPH

  • Chromatography is an analytical technique to quantify different organic compounds within a sample through the use of standards and calibration curves. The need for only a small sample, its high degree of sensitivity, and the reliability of its results are its greatest advantages.

This technique can be used to determine the purity of thermally-stable, organic prime materials with boiling points of less than 300 degrees C. It may also be used to analyze mixtures of alcohols, alcohol levels in blood, the alcohol content in drinks, mixtures of volatile hydrocarbons, among others.
