Academic Master’s Degree

  • The “Stricto Sensu” graduate courses at UNIVAP are coordinated by the R & D Institute (IP&D in Portuguese). Currently, there are three courses offered for an academic Master’s degree and two courses for a professional Master’s degree, all of which are recommended by CAPES, the federal grant agency. UNIVAP has awarded more than 1,120 Master’s degrees and PhDs since 1998.

All the Master’s degree programs must be completed within a 24-month period. During the first year, students devote themselves to coursework within their field and begin the initial stages of work related to their theses. In the second year, they concentrate on their research for their Master’s thesis.
